Many items offered on this web site are one of a kind. Therefore, we recommend that you pay for purchases using the web site shopping cart, which accepts VISA and MasterCard payments as well as personal checks, Cashier’s Checks, and Money Orders. Alternatively, you can: (a) reserve items with an email message or phone call prior to sending a check or money order; or (b) pay for an item through our PayPal link. These payment methods will ensure that your order is properly reserved until the transaction is complete and the items are shipped. Items reserved will be held 7 days pending receipt of payment.

All sales are for cash payable in U.S. dollars. Check and credit card orders from persons unknown to Alabama Coin and Silver must clear appropriate banks before items will be mailed. Out of state personal checks require about 7 days clearance. Foreign checks must be drawn on U.S. banks and contain bank transfer numbers. Alabama residents, please add 4% sales tax on all merchandise purchased from ACS.

Shipping charges within the U.S. are $6.00 for items valued at $600 or less and will be sent by insured mail. Orders valued over $600 will be assessed $11.00 for postage and sent by registered insured mail. Shipment of coins and collectibles to a non U.S. address is offered uninsured  by registered mail. Overseas shipping charges are $11.00. Insurance coverage for overseas shipments can be provided at additional cost. International orders have a maximum indemnity of $40 if lost in transit. For Canada, the maximum indemnity is $1000. Buyers with non U.S. addresses assume any additional risk of loss. International purchasers are also responsible for all local duties, taxes, customs and other fees.

Personal checks, Money Orders, or Cashier's Checks should be made out to Alabama Coin and Silver and sent to: 912 Bob Wallace Avenue, Huntsville, Alabama 35801 USA. The receipt of Money Orders or Cashier's Checks results in immediate shipment of the items being sold.

When paying by credit card through the shopping cart or by phone, please provide the card number, full name as it appears on the card, expiration date, and the card billing address. VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Coins and collectibles can only be sent to a verifiable billing address. Multiple items can be purchased with a single payment using the shopping cart.

We are proud to be a verified seller within the PayPal community. When paying through PayPal, notification of your payment is automatic. Coins and collectibles will be shipped immediately upon receipt of payment by a buyer with an address confirmed by PayPal. Alabama Coin and Silver only accepts single payments from single PayPal accounts. Multiple items can be purchased using PayPal, but a separate PayPal transaction is required for each item that is purchased.

Alabama Coin and Silver accepts returns, for any reason, within 10 days of receipt provided that the item is returned in the same condition as received. Refunds will not be provided for merchandise that has been mishandled or altered by the buyer. After 10 days of receipt, all sales are considered final unless the item's authenticity is brought into question. All items offered on this web site are guaranteed to be genuine, without time limit. However, any claim to the contrary must be sent to ACS first by email or letter and approved prior to return. This stipulation is necessary to avoid the indiscriminate return of authentic items without proper consideration. Alabama Coin and Silver does not reimburse the buyer for postage or insurance on returns unless the problem is due to an error in description or to human error on our part. Please notify us in advance of your intention to return an item.

Unless explicitly stated in the description, all photographed coins and collectibles are the actual items that the buyer will receive.
